It allows you to keep up to 6 hive records on-line for free. You can make notes, put in tasks, record inspections etc.
 
As a stand alone bit of software, I think it could be quite useful. Additionally, if you have a suitable phone, you can do all of this on your phone as you go, and it will automatically update the records without having to re-enter them on your pc.
 
One particularly sexy bit is that you can print hive labels that you can scan with the recommended application for your phone. When you scan the label it will bring the appropriate record up on your phone. How cool is that ?
 
If you have more than 6 hives, there is the option to pay $15 a year so that you can have up to 1000 hives. I think I read on the site that it is a bloke in Cornwall who has set it up.
